Can someone help me out on this one. when i turn the wheel left/right, i'd hear a groan. sometimes when i turn the wheel its fine, other times.. it groans. The noise comes from the front somewhere.
Power steering pump? Have you checked your fluid levels? Have you replaced the fluid since the car was new? It should be drained and replaced at least every three years.
Sometimes, I'd say every few weeks when parking, my car does the exact same thing... its like a long somewhat high-pitched groan... it's even done this since the car was new.
If it's an intermittent problem I wouldn't really worry about it.
