I just ordered these from Umnitza They were 780 with shipping, not to bad since they are the only people I could find that makes them. Anyways, had anyone ever installed these and if you have how was the install? I should be getting them in the mail tomorrow, I am kinda excited cause I think this will look nice on my 3 series.

holy ripoff batman. i bought first gen angel eyes about a year ago from jlevi whose supplier also provides to umnitza. i got mine for a hundred. did you get the chromium or titanium? either way it should've been around 150.

i installed mine myself...very easy. the only challenging part is locating a place to mount the ballasts.

good luck!

Dpnguyen chill.

Thats a decent deal because you do have the facelifted e46 and you also got projector46's with HID and Angel eyes.

Tehy will look awesome. The thign about umnitza is they always send a very detailed installation instructions. Usually they give you a website and passwor dto access their detailed instructions but since you didnt mention that i bet they just mailed you printed instructions. No worries. My only recommendation is that you find a nice secure and clean area to put your balasts/ignitors for your HID's in order to keep a stock look aswell as protect your investment.

well they finally came in and I was looking over the instruction on their website and they don now say how to hook the wiring up. I fonud one of their installers in the MD area that said he can do it for 210, and he uses a fatory wiring harness and mounts everything so u cant see it. He also will put a switch under the dsah to turn the angel eyes on or off if I want and a remote so when I haev the interior lights on when I unlock the doors the angel eyes will turn on then fade off with the interior lights. Im geting this done on the 19th of this month. I will post pics when done and take some pics of the install.

OK he is charging too much for the install. Just splice your angel eyes into your parking lights. They wil blink with your alarm and be on whenever you turn on your parking lgihts. Also you can do a "parking light delete" look easily if you dont want the parking lights on at the same time.

How hard is it to hook up HID's? Ignitor to ballasts to socket to bulbs Ibelieve. Dont quote me on that. And then hige the ballast and ignitors (if htye are seperate form each other) under your headlamps on the bumper and get them strapped down.

[thumb] I took a look at what you bought and only now understand why you are paying $780.00. I have a E46 and I purchased only the DDE's from Um*nitza and installed them in about an hour. I didn't go for the cheap slice into the parking lights installation because I love the look of the daytime running lights that are always on, extremely bright in the day light. The instructions are very, very simple to follow, I sliced from the additional fuse box under the hood directly to the DDE's and they look fabulous. I like what you did from the standpoint that my DDE's make my non-xenon halogen headlights and halogen fogs look just a little on the weak side. The Um*nitza DDE's are really, really bright even in the light of day. Happy Motoring...
