it was a very mediocre example, mustard yellow/tan with poor badges and dented chrome with the original crummy steel rims and aftermarket steering wheel and goofy wood tipped stick shifter...total junk...fetched $20,000!!! I wouldn't have paid $2,000 for this piece....very wierd...makes me wish I kept my 76 '02, the excellent pre-cursor to the E-30....my 88 325 reminds me very much of my 76 2002 except that the 2002 only went 1900 lbs whereas the 325i is 3200 lbs., yet very much the same feeling kind of car.....but the 325i has more creature comfort items and horse (although I miss the smoking wings on the '02)....anyway $20K for a 71 2002 that was marginal...unbelievable

"The Complete Book of BMW", author Tony Lewin, lists the differences between the 2002 and the E30 325i as: "2002 100bhp@5500rpm, 157Nm@3500rpm, a Kerb weight of 990kg" or 2178lbs. The E30 325i, "171bhp@5800rpm, and 226Nm@4000rpm, and a Kerb weight of 1190kg" or 2618lbs. So a difference of 71hp and 440lbs. The 2002tii has 20 more ponies (120) @5500rpm and 21 more Nm of torque at 3600rpm and the same weight. Interesting!
