The other night, I had to jump my battery because my stupid butt forgot to shut my parking lights off and it was a bit cold as well. So then I got it all charged up, ofcourse, every thing is back at zero. I start driving it for a while then I notice that my temp. gauge is still reading cold..Beyond cold its like I never turned on the coils and is stuck in the off position. Just courious to know if anyone elce has had this problem. Thanks!

On the thermostat housing where the switch is the terminals come loose and need to be periodically "wiggled" to get working again.

Either that, or your "SI" board which is under your gauge cluster within the unit has taken a shat.

Check the wires all over the T-stat housing first, and welcome to the forum dude!!

Hey thanks alot for the info! But It died again this afternoon due to the glove box bulb being tripped, so I just crawled under and disconnected it (glove box is stuck). As for the gauge, it magicly turned on again, but I really appreciate it! My hunch is that the battery was just exhausted from me leaving my lights on the night before, plus the bulb (must be a high amper bulb, the housing was pretty hot), and the cold weather. Never a good combination for a battery. Thanks for the warm welcome!
