My 99 328i won't start (won't even crank, makes only one click) until I connect additional booster battery (portable) to the front terminals. I first thought my battery was dead, so I bought a new one and it still does the same thing... Just one click and no crank. The car is getting power to everything, but will not crank unless I do what's descrbide above. Any ideas?????
Also my charging (battery) light comes on intermittently while the engine is running. It comes on and off.
Please, any ideas would help tremendously.
