1st time Owner..maybe!

I am looking into buying a 2000 323i and I wanted to know about how much the repairs would cost me... I have a 2000 Honda Accord at the moment and love the car. How would you compare this two cars in cost and performance..honestly. Would the repairs burn a hole in my pocket and how long would this car last? I'm in college and I need a car that will go over 100,000 miles w/ out giving me tons of problems. Honda's don't seem to do that

I would stick with the Honda if you're in College and need a reliable car. Since the E46 certainly isn't the pinnacle of reliability. At around 100-120k miles these cars usually need a transmission since GM built it, and GM builds crap.

If you want a BMW that will run for ever, get an e30 (late 80's or early 90's) great cars...
