Posted this on M3 forum but since this is the most popular forum I'm double posting... If you are leasing M3, can you share your lease details? One dealer I went to is quoting me $1300/month for 66k M3 cabrio!!! I thought it was ridiculous considering the fact that I'm currently paying $560/month w/ 0 down for my $45k 04 330Ci (negotiated at little below 43k I believe). I thought I'd ask for your help before I start calling other dealerships in CA.

MSRP -
Negotiated Price -
Down Payment -
Monthly Payment -
Money Factor or APR or Total Rental Charge -
Dealer Location -

Will I be wasting my time if I'm looking for a $700 - $800/month lease for decently equipped M3 coupe (53 - 55k probably)?

Is the money factor higher on M3s than coupes? I built M3 and 330Ci to have same MSRP on bmwusa.com. The least payment estimate came out to be significantly higher on M3 than 330Ci...

Extending my lease and getting E90 coupe is the other option. Any confirmed date on the arrival of E90 coupes?

Wow, $1,300 a month for a car payment. That's like rent, or a
mortgage payment, for some. My 330 is paid off, $0 monthly
payment.

Can you imagine how far that extra $800 for the M3 would go
if invested each month?

For a 36-month lease, at $1,300 you're looking at $47,000,
plus about $4,000 down. So after 36 months, you'll walk
away from the lease with absolutely nothing after spending
over $50,000. Seems completely insane to me.

What's the buy-out on your existing 2004 330? It's only 2 years
old, and you know the owner took good care of the car. [;)]
Why not buy it outright, and put more money in the bank each
month?

There's no way I'm paying $1300/month on that car. And that's why I'm interested in what others paid and shopping around. I won't be purchasing my current one. That was the whole point of leasing - put no money down, $560 a month and get rid of it in 3 yrs. Besides, with new E92 coupes around the corner I don't think my car's worth 29k at this point. Not to mention in a year, I'm gonna have to start paying for maintenance myself.

I have since got some better offers on M3 coupes. To me M3 is worth extra $200 each month. We'll see if I can get that kinda deal to come through...
