2 Questions...

I just moved to the Baltimore/ Washington DC Area from Fort Worth, Texas and need to know if there is a recommended dealership in the area for scheduled maintenance?

Also, I have a turn signal that has gone out, but not sure how to get to the back of the turn signal fixture to replace the bulb. Anyone care to tell the idiot (that would be me)?

Assuming you mean the rear turn signal, the fixture that holds the bulbs is accessed from inside the trunk. Take a look and you will see that there's this thing that can be unscrewed by hand.

Sorry...I should have been more specific. The Front Right turn signal bulb is out!

2000 323i, you're in luck, it's a 1 minute job literally, or 5 if you want to be gentle the first time.


This link details the complete removal of all lights, Steps 1-12 are for front corner removal. Make sure you have a long flathead, that is all you will need!

The manual is actually useful. It tells you how to change the bulbs on your car (cept xenons I think).
