2000 323i's are fine, 10 months in mine, no problem (other than discovering my stock shocks were blown when I changed my suspension). Is it CPO?

No major problems known, just the normal wear and tear like any car.

[thumb] Hey Pacismakaveli, I have that same automobile. I currently have 140,000 miles on it. I bought it brand new in Europe in May 1999. I have had no major problems to speak of... the minor ones include the Control Arm Bushings, the rear window wiring gizmo and the four wheel alignment frustrations that come with big city living and man-eating, rim snapping potholes. I have put all the miles on myself mostly highway and plan to drive it one million miles. I am religious about oil changes every 5,000 miles along with tire rotations. Other than that I get my scheduled maintenance done on-time. I love my bimmer, it's a joy to drive, I wouldn't own anything else. That's my two and a half cents worth. Happy Motoring [driving2]

Thats cool...but will the HID's give me the "ring" look...cuz i want the halos for the "circle lighting effect" plus the xenon look...those are the 2 most important things.....
Ring look? do you mean DDE lighting? (My avatar to the left)

That is seperate, and is an aftermarket parts deal - unless you're picking up a new 5 or 7, those are not stock. They only require a little bit of labor to install though.

Thanks guys!

also, my engine management light came on a week ago, i called the dealer and they said it was my gas tank lid (it wasnt on tight enought). So i tightened it and now the light is off.....but even before i noticed that the light is present when the key is in the 1st and 2nd position....but when i turn the car on, it goes off....is this normal??

>>>i know that all the lights come at certain key posistions, but they all go off at the 2nd position except this one......????????

thanks again for the help!

If it goes off by the time your engine starts, don't worry about it.

And yeah, the gas cap is a sensitive thing. It might even have a warning in the manual or on the car somewhere. Make sure you always tighten it til it clicks.
