Hey, thought i would post on here, see if some of you experts could have a look for me!!
I bought my 2001 E46 compact 6 months ago.
Ongoing problems on this car are as follows :-
rattling coming from the car when revving the engine, it sounds like a diesel car.
Knocking coming from the exhaust when going over slight bumps, this noise can be brought on by putting the car in a too high gear at slow speeds, eg, 5th gear at 30 mph, put the foot down and it will rattle like hell!!!!
These are ongoing problems with the car,
It has been back about 6 times to the dealer,
Following repairs carried out under warranty
Clutch
Propshaft allignment 4 times
Exhaust removal and replacement 2 times.
There are more problems, i will list them all if you fancy!!!
The dealership had to have an area manager down to tell them the clutch was faulty.!!!! MADNESS
have we had any experience of the sam problems here??
