I am in the market for a 330Ci with Premium package, sports package, xenon lights, and navigation system. The dealer quoted me $800 over invoice. My question is that is the invoice price the same as the inovice price quoted on sites like Edmunds or Carsdirect? Is $800 over invoice a good price? Thanks.

Thats a great price ! I would spend the $12 and get a copy of manufactures invoice from Consumer Reports & have it as a reference, this way you can question anything unusual.

The 330's are a fairly easy allocation and I couldnt get as many dealers to negotiate in the same manner on an M3....which kinda sucks for me !

Good Luck !!!

Ditto on the 330Ci convertible. I was doing good to get the dealer to drop the "market value" mark-up ($2500) _and_ to dig deeper below sticker -- actually gave me $2500 off sticker, but nowhere near Invoice. I did get him to take $800 off extended maintenance and limited warranty (6/100,000 normally costs $1600) and he threw in the alarm, BMW AUX input port in glove box, and floor mats. Still, I don't feel like I got a very good deal.

Last week, I ordered a 330CiC (Euro delivery) for 3.5% above invoice, approx $1500. Another dealer offered 3% above inv, but I declined it since they were further away.

$800 above inv is a good price for any 3er.
