All, I have posted in the past but let me catch you up on the issues.

It started doing this at about 1500 miles or so. Here is my exact description:
1. Car sits level overnight.
2. Start car, idle for 5 - 10 seconds.
3. Put it in reverse.
4. Back out of the drive, about 35 feet.
5. Put it in 1st gear.
6. Step on gas.
7. Engine revs to between 1800 - 2200 RPM for 2 to 4 seconds - no power to wheels.
8. Transmission then 'grabs', and car starts moving.
9. It does it only once in the morning when totally cold. It does NOT repeat after sitting for 3 to 4 hours. It only occurs after 8 plus hours of sitting unused and the longer you let it sit (over the weekend) it is even worse on Monday am.

I have had the transmission replaced, then 2 to 3 weeks later had the computer reprogrammed and now about 3 to 4 weeks later it is back to step number one.

Any help you guys could give would be wonderful.

Thanks,
Terry

i've posted this before and i dont know if it works or would be considered a cure. When you start your car after sitting and you're ready to go , put it in drive first with your foot on brake let it engage a couple of seconds and then back out of your driveway .Like i said It's not ment to be a cure or a fix because your tranny should work perfectly but rather an intervention until bmw as a recall or solution.. I do this with my equip. at work and it helps ..but then again they're tractors ( tugs ) at the airport ..[scratch]

I have tried it all. I am just ready for them to come up with a fix. My 2003 330CiC does not have the same problem, and it is only 3 months older than my 2004 so I am not sure what it is.

Thanks for your suggestion!!!
