Hi,
I am currently considering buying a 2005 330ci performance package with a manual transmission. I like to hear form other owners of this vehicle and to get thier feedback. Is the $3,900 (US) price for the package worth the performance increase. I have called all the BMW dealers within a 100 miles from my residence and none of the dealers have one of these vehicles in stock. They are telling me they can order one for me. I had the opportunity to drive an automatic 330ci with the performance package last month while my 525i was in for service. The salesman told there is a performance differnece in acceleration between the auto and manual transmission. My 525i has a 5 speed manual and I noticed a difference in the acceleration between the manual and auto transmission. I appreciate any input that can be given to me.

Absolutely, get it. It not just the extra 10 horses.

- 18in style 135 M wheels, staggered - 225/40ZR-18 front and 255/35ZR-18
- 235 HP vs 225 HP for a 330 - 5.9 sec 0-60 - Car and Driver tested to 5.6
- 6800 RPM redline
- reprogrammed engine management, hotter cams
- Stiffer tuned suspension than the sport package
- M tech Bump w/ side skirt and rear apron.
- 155 MPH top speed
- Short throw M shifter
- 3 spoke M Steer wheel
- Alcantra leather interior
- Carbon fiber interior trim
- Dual chromed exhaust tip with tune exhaust note
- Sport seat with 3 Memory sets
- Black shadow trim
- 3.07:1 versus the 2.93:1 final drive ratio
- Aluminum trim around the gauges
- lower by .5 inch

It a blast to drive and quite unique. I don't see many around. I would say to be a collectors item in the future. the 330i is not produced anymore, but you can still get it in the Ci.
