318I overheating

It seems as though the aux fan is not working. We recently had some bumper work done on the car. Could it be disconnected? Where do I look?
Also the heater blows air that is not hot?
Any ideas?

The aux fan does not run when the car is running and we put on the ac. Both hoses on the rad seem hot when running.

I looked at the temp switch on the side of the rad to jump it to see if the fan would run but it is a 3 prong plug
Any ideas?

unplug the plug, stick one end of a wire in one of the three holes and stick the other to the battery. it should come on, or at least that is what i did..hope it helps
