What's a C200K?
I would go with the A4 1.8T because the 318i doesn't have enough power to make anyone happy. The A4 1.8T isn't that quick either, but with just some $$$ invested into mods, it can be very quick. Maybe consider a BMW 325i or 325is.

Thats what Mecedes call their C-Class "2 Liter Kompressor" over there. I would also get the A4, with a simple upgrade of the turbo chip and exhaust, you can easily put out over 200hp for these cars. The 318i IMO looks much better than the other two.

Rank of Choices:
1) A4
2) 318i
3) C200K

I didn't know that Mercedes ever made a C200K. I thought they had a C230K and I think a C220K.
K stands for "Kompressor", which is the German word for supercharger.

My ranking:

1) A4 1.8T - tons of mods for it so it can be decently quick with little work
2) C200K - you're in Malaysia. Asians like Mercedes over the other brands.
3) 318i - wimpy engine like the Mercedes but w/out the prestige. Looks better tho IMO.

Hello.. and sorry for my bad English.

I have the Mercedes C200 Kompressor [ Its 2000cc, 6speed, 210ps (only chiptuned) ]
Many times bmw cars challenged me on the road. ( like 320! etc.. ) and i swear to my child i have never seen bmw cars winning me!

My friend owns a Audi TT quatro!
He owe me 500 euros. for 0-400m distance.

Believe it or not.. its the truth.

Read more about ( new ) Mercedes engines guys.

Definitely the A4 1.8T first, which I probably would have bought if it didn't look so dull relative to the bimmer, and if my work would condone the use of a turbo-charger (I claim all my vehicle expenses through my employer).

As for the Merc, I have read so many disappointing things about the recent models of Mercedes in terms of reliability that I think I will stay away from the 3-pointed star for quite a while.

Hi anxious. I'm from Singapore, your immediate neighbour. I was using a Merc 200 Masterpiece. Was very happy with the car until I took delivery of my 318iA last month. Then I realise the Merc was not good enough. The 318iA drives more smoothly and is definately more powerful than a Merc (A Merc weights 1.8tons; A 318ia only 1.4 tons). Also, depending on your age group, here in Asia, a Merc is usually seen as more appropriate for those after late 40s. BM is for the slightly younger generation. Bhp wise, it doen't matter. I don't go pass 130kph. Neither do I worry about 0-100 in 9 sec or 12 sec. Which state are you from?
