Hi all,

I'm doing very prelimiary shopping for my new car which will either be the 320i or 325i (e46 from 2003 on) and I was just wondering if someone could point out the major differences between them... I am looking for a Sport model, because I think it looks better, but apart from the look of the bodykit, are there any technical differences between the Sport and Executive?

That wasn't a very clear paragraph [confused] lol, but what I'm asking is for the differences between 320i and 325i and Sport and Executive.

Thanks!

Well sport usually has sport suspension, Sport Steering wheel, 17" wheels, and sport seats. The executive has a bit of sport and premium package It has 17" wheels, Rain sensor, sunroof. sport steering wheel, power seats and heated, 10 hfi speakers.

The main differences between 320i and 325i is the engine. The 320i usually has 15" wheels and may have 16" if upgraded to sport.

For what its worth I found the executive edition a well rounded car (Thats why I made my purchase!)

Hopefully I was any help

haha, Im guessing by your name you might own one? I know they're great, have a 330ci in the family, just not really in a position to spend in excess of 85k on a car right now, dont you love Aussie prices?

Taxes, yeah, it must be, I think our government must love imports. A brand new E90 330i starts at the grand price of $96,500 - add some options plus dealer and delivery charges, you're looking at in excess of $100,000 for a car that in the US is how much exactly? $40k? I'm not sure what you pay over there, but considering our dollar more or less buys US0.75 or so, that doesn't explain the large discrepancy.
