320td compact 02' with M kit??????

hello ppl im new to this forum so just to say hi and to see if anyone can help me with a big dillema i have.Recently i bought a 2002 BMW 320td compact and trough sher stupidity i have crashed it Well i took the car to a mechanic(not the official bmw dealership coz it would kill me financially) and he ordered the parts.Well now the fairytale begins...when the parts came(they were ordered using the cars (dunno how to say it in english))serial number they didnt fit????????????
And the mechanic said that is because the car has the M package?????Well im more then a little sceptic coz nowhere on the entire car there is any indication of the M(iwe managed to find a single picture of a compact that has the M equipment).So my question is this can anyone please help me with pictures,info,anything that can help me determine the truth.I have to change the front hood,front bumper,grille,both lights,etc. Is there a difference between this parts in a "regular" compact and the M version?


P.s.And if anyone can tell me of a shop that sells this parts in europe?

Hey hey,

It's pretty obvious if you have the M Sports Package, but I've taken some photos of mine to show you the most obvious signs. Mine is a sedan, but it should have the same inclusions as the compact. The changes you said; lights, grill, bumper and hood... out of those, the only one that would/should be different because of the M package is the front bumper. The rest should be the same regardless of being M or just normal.

yes i see that yours is the M and i know from others iwe seen that mine doesnt have the M package but i just wanted to check so not to appear stupid when i go to rip the mechanic head off for saying something that stupid.
Unfortunatelly i have only one picture of the car and that is after i have crashed it so ill try to post it here(front end) so if anyone can recognize if it maybe has the M-technik sportpakage or any other difference between the standard one just post it here.

That picture makes me sad... from the bumper it doesn't look like it has a sports pack on it... maybe the mechanic should actually learn what the sport pack is before saying your car has it.

What did you hit?? It looks like the bumper is fairly intact compared to the hood. Sorry that happened =(

Well i was racing a friend in the 320cd e46 riding on his bumper he braked i braked a moment later but....so i crashed into his back end and it trew me off the road where i ripped out a road sign So it doesnt look so bad considering...But the price of the parts is HIGH.

Is a Cd basically like a E36 Ti?

Or do you have something on the head lights?
Because im thinking coupe diesel, but the front looks like a Ti.

the picture is from a 2002 320td compact,the frend i was racing had a 320cd and i think it was e46 the line looked similair to mine(except the lights and the back end)
