325e or i

Im looking to aquire a 325e or i and pull the most power out of it. I heard something about swapping the head on th e with an i but i was also considering the 3.5 motor as well... Anyone have a. any more info on the e, i swap. b. any better suggestions on motors to swap?

Dan 3.5 motor = M30...the m5's were 3.6 and 3.8 liters, geesh, noob!!!!

go with the 325i as dan said. 325e's are econoboxes with good torque. good cars but not revvy or anything like the "i"

I wouldn't exactly call the 325e an "econobox," the engine just has different driving dynamics than a 325i.

yeah go with the 325i or 325iS so you can have the lsd on the iS version. the 325e only revvs to 5500 i think and isnt the fastest bmw.

Yea, its' gas mileage isn't that much better than a 325i!!
