325i and 323i difference

I own a 1984 323i and have been looking for proformance parts for it. I had a look on pelican parts and most of the parts that I saw were for the 325i, would these parts be fine for a 323i? if not what is the difference between the two. Thanks for your help

Most parts will fit but some do not. Check with the vendor before buying. Chassis and suspension parts should not be a problem. If you talk to Pelican parts or Bavarian Auto (www.bavauto.com) or BMP Design (bmpd.com) they should be able to help as some 323i cars were privately imported to the US. In 1984 the only models available here were the 318i and the 325e. The E30 323i was never available from a new car dealer in the States. The 325i came to the US for the 1987 model year. Emissions equipment was the main difference between US and Euro models. Watch out for exhaust differences also due to location of the cat converter if it has one.
