Hello,

I have a customer with a 2006 325i and she just activated a new cell phone with me and she wants to use the bluetooth handsfree in her car. I've looked through the manual, searched on here and google, but I was unable to find any setup. So if someone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

Thanks

You have to enable bluetooth, and have it search for devices. On the phone (mine is a Motorola) I initiate to seek for devices. Once they ping, the car will ask for a pin code (or whatever they call it). Just punch in some numbers, then the phone will tell you it found new device, BMWXXXX. Click on connect, the phone will ask you for pin, enter same number as car, and boom. Easy. The trick is don't have phone broadcast, have phone doing the searching.

but i couldn't find where to turn the bluetooth on in the car. do you do it through the radio?
Yes. There is a phone button on the right hand side (along with audio settings and something else). You can access it through there or through the menu, selecting phone. UNLESS you have navigation, then I couldn't tell you how to do it. But if you don't have navigation, the radio is used for a display.

Bt

you have to match your BT to the car.

First configure the phone to detect "other" BT whild you have the car running. After that you should be fine and it should function.
