330 gets faster within time?

I just got my 330i and i was wondering if it gets faster by time... I didn't reach 1000km yet.. and a friend told me that when i reach 10,000 the car will be more powerful and faster. Is that true?

Yes that is true...BMW's are built so tight that over time they begin to loosen up which allows them to go faster.

Any engine will perform better after time.

Some engines take around 20k to 25k before max power, fuel economy and smoothness are reached. It is gradual so most people never notice.

For proof check one-year test on vehicles. They should give speed numbers at the start and end of test. I've seen the 0-60 knocked down one second before but that is an exception.

Engines are like fine wine (atleast to a point)
