Any readers of this Board buy the 330 with the performance package? If so what do you think of it? I like its appearance and the changes make the car perform much better based on the articles I've read.

I like mine[thumb]

I think you will be happy with the car. The only thing I would do different and wish I had is go for the Dinan S or S1 package right from the dealer prior to delivery. Mine is a lease so doing so after the fact is not as easy. This would not have added a lot to my lease expense and I think it would have finished the car off very nicely. [driving]

But there is always a chance on my next one. [:D]

I love mine. Took a ride in the mountains today with a buddy in his modified '03 Mustang w/ 4.6 L V8. Easily kept up with him. Gotta get to that driving school...

It's a blast to drive, gets good fuel mileage, is solid as a bank vault and you don't see them everywhere (at least here in Arizona).

Buy one!

"another ZHP in Vegas, baby..."

[wave]

Yo, sly

I just took delivery of my '04 ZHP. I was also looking hard at the '04 'Vette Coupe.

After doing my homework on both vehicles, I chose the 'ZHP.' It's a hell of a lot of fun to drive

and the type of vehicle that you accelerate into a corner with. Well worth the extra $3900.

Bryan330i was a great influence on my decision...

The only other car I'd trade the 'ZHP' for is the M3 [burnout]

i definatly love mine. especially the performance and handling compared to the regular 330. my only grips are that the alcantara steering wheel is beginning to wear down a little after a few miles, and the rims are a pain in the a$$ to clean unless you have the right cleaning tools. these are only minor problems, and like paddy said, id only trade mine in for an M3.

I think we're pretty much going to have to live with the Alcantara...

[wave] Bryan... I was thinking [idea], if I was able to make any changes with the decisions I

made concerning my '03 325i & '04 'ZHP' ~ I would NOT have purchased the 325i, kept my

TrailBlazer and put myself [driving2] the '04 Silver Gray M3 in the showroom at

D. BMW of H.

But, we ALL know the old saying... "Hindsight is 20/20 [?|] ."

Hey paddy[wave]

I would love an M3, but those payments[ohcrap]

It was like twice as much as mine- the M3 was in the 800's, 860.00 or somewhere there and 1170.00 on a buy. But then again I look at how much I waste every month on other crap and it is not so bad.

The M3 is just a 'dream car' at this point, but I'm completely satisfied w/the 'ZHP.' It's the next best thing to the M3.

I'm looking forward to putting on that 1st wax job when I get home in April. Think I'm going to go with the Zaino products...

The one thing that drives me crazy is cleaning those wheels [?|] . I am going to look into buying a hydraulic jack and removing the wheels, so I can clean the entire thing, front & back. I'd like to do this every 5-6 weeks. And of course I wouldn't be rotating any of the wheels as BMW doesn't recommend it. The think the only thing I'd have to pay attention to is re-torquing
each of the lug nuts, although I'm not sure if this step is necessary.

Any thoughts or [idea] (s) {on this subject} would be appreciated.

I hate cleaning the wheels, it takes me longer than the whole rest of the car. I have not found anything that makes it any easier yet or keeps them cleaner longer.

Do you plan on washing yours at home? I am. I don't know where else to wash it at. The self services washes are still open and I think I use less water at home than I ever did at those places.

Oh, and by the way, there will be yet another "lake" on the strip. I also understand that almost none of the newer water projects use recycled water. [???1] And it looks like the water debate is getting heated, I cant remember where but one part of town refused to honor the restrictions. I think they need to be fair, if a lake is what is wanted, they need to put up the cash to do it right under the circumstances and use recycled water. [scream]

EVERYONE should help, including the big users that seem to be ignored in the water plan.

I use a car wash up on Sunset, in Henderson, opposite Barley's Casino.

It's a 'hand-wash' car wash that only charges about $7-$8. No brushes or high pressure to remove any wax already on your car.

At that point I just head back to my garage for any wax/polish application etc.

Bryan; what do you think about the wheel removal for cleaning, as in my above thread???
