Are any of you having problems with "Bent Rims"? I live in the Washington DC area, I only drive about 100 miles a week and keep getting bent rims. The roads I drive are not rough at all. Also does anyone know where I might be able to buy them for less that the $600+ that is being charged by the dealer.

Thanks!

what style rims do you have? i bought style 68m rims from an online retailer. (i just did a quick check on ebay, and set of 4 were going for 499+70 shipped. all were 17 x 7.5)

i run those w/ my snows, and they've been pretty nice. good luck.

Get them trued up, if it's not 'too' bad and the entire wheel isn't 'warped' you can likely find a local shop to you that will do them for 125-150 a wheel (Average price in the ATL to 'true' wheels back up).

Don't get BMW to do them (As it won't be a warranty fix unless you spent the extra 3-5k for 'wheel insurance').. Take them to an independant shop to get them fixed.

The bigger the wheel, the slower you have to take speed bumps and big 'potholes', warped wheels get more and more common the bigger wheel you put on your car.
