330CI stalling

I have a 2001 330CI and for the last couple years it has developed a nasty habit. When the tempurature gets above 80 degrees F, it occationally stalls when i come to a stop. There does not seem to be any set rule about when it will happen. The RPMs just drop to zero instead of stoping at around 1,000.

Since it is intermittant the dealer will not touch it.

Any ideas on what could cause this?

Do you always use the same gas station? What octane do
you usually buy?

Try some 'brand name' gas for a month, like Sunoco 93 octane, and
see if it helps.
