In performing the 90K maintenance on my 2001 330cic, the indy mechanic identified a few things (water pump, thermostat housing, power steering reservoir) that are covered under my CPO which expires in a couple of weeks - so I've scheduled a visit to the dealer to take care of those. He also identified that the (front) lower control arm bushings need replacement. Total estimate (labor and mat.) to do the bushings is $350.
First, is this amount reasonable and second, is it possible that the bushings may be covered under the CPO? I rather doubt the latter as this is a suspension item and I THINK I recall seeing that all suspension items are excluded from the CPO. Anyone know for sure (from experience)?
