That is hot....I love it. [thumb]

I saw one driving down the street a few weeks back and I thought it sure had a different look than the coupe. I guess something about the lines being a bit different and also the line where it attached to the car.

I saw is and thought this is my next car. I think even if I was not looking for a convertible I would still get it with the hard top because it looks fantastic I think. Best of both worlds.

Super nice!

Thanks !

The one thing I just am not a fan of is the soft top, the car looks "raggy" no pun intended - when the soft-top is up. Taking off the top is soooo simple 4 latches & BMW has the latches hidden..lol, so its even hard from the inside to tell its not a hardtop, the non-BMW fan may not even know.

I have see some hartdtops on the 323's, boy I would think hard to come by now though - I would venture to say the original owners keep them with the car.

Bryan330 - thanks man ! I love yur imola ZHP - it rocks ! Have a good Xmas !

Looks great! [thumb] I am still thinking about getting one for my car. How hard is it to put the top on/off if you don't have a fancy hoist setup like yours, Kirby?

man, i will tell you, the heaviest f'ing top to do by ones self was a bronco. you stand in the back and lift the top off with your shoulders and walk it off. i think it would be a lot earier to do it that way in a car, then off the 3' tailgate of a bronco.

Very very easy on/off...with no hoist its a 2 person removal, but its very lightweight, it just takes 2 so you dont scratch your paint.

Kirby I like your hoist set-up, I think I will leave the top on till April or so and then am looking forward to the garage project. Thanks for your original posts on your hard-top, I found the pic's very helpful.

Someday, I will put clears on...lol, I figure right now its a dealer item..and with LED's, I am lost as to price ?.

Tweet - I think youd like the top, the dealer originally rec'd a scratched one from a diff dealer, so I waited for a fresh one from Germany.

As flashinthepan said, it's very easy to put on with 2 people, only weighs maybe 75 pounds. It takes all of maybe 5 minutes. I got the hoist mainly for ease and protection for summer storage. It's up out of the way and can't get scratched, etc.
