Hey everyone,
just wanted to post a quick follow-up. I gave in, and took my car back to the dealer to have the power windows fixed.....since they would not auto up, nor would the "all window" button function. I was probably pushed to doing this, since I started hearing this horrible rattle, shaking yesterday morning from the driver door heading all the way back to top. Having the car for almost a month (and never taking the top down , I thought maybe if I lowered the top, and then raise it, the rattle would go away. WRONG!!! When I raised the top back up, the sound worsened.... it sounded like pieces of plastic and bolts and nuts being shaken around in a tupperware bowl!!!! S*#@.
It was a very defeating feeling, taking a new 2004 BMW to the dealer for a repair....and to enhance the feeling of defeat...I drove away in a metallic brown Ford Focus sedan with lovely two-tone brown cloth interior. Freude am Fahren......yeah
