hey guys, my friend is looking into a new 330i with the sport package (auto tranny) and premium package. i was wondering, does a limited slip differental come with the sport package or does it stay open?

I don't know if it has one or not...I would think it does, but then again, BMW does not list on their web site. But I can tell you that when there is wheel-spin in one of the rear wheels, the traction control system will apply more power to the wheel that has grip.

yea but i always disable the traction control whenever i get in a car...it ruins the fun! so yea maybe someone here knows?

I just found out. The answer is, no, none of the 3-series come with a rear limited-slip differential. Only the M3 does.
