16 inch wheels do not fit a 330i due to the larger brake rotor size and caliper clearance required on a 330. A 330i has 12.8 front rotors and 12.6 in rear rotors. These are 1 inch larger than those on a 325i which can accommodate 16 in rims. 17 in are standard on a 330 and 18 inch are optional (std on ZHP).

Thanks rjp325i. Now I have to decide if I change to winter tires on my 17in wheels, and move up to 18in for the non-winters, or get some less expensive wheels for winter driving and keep my 17's as the regular set.

Is there a benefit to having 16in tires for winter? There is a set on Tire Rack from AT Italia that could fit.

there is one 16 incher that i know of that works w/ 330.

AT Italia type 5s. 139 a pop over at the tirerack

i was going to get those, but i found out that dunlop m3s were pretty cheap at 17inch sizes.. so i may go w/ either the 17 inch sports replicas, or the m3 replicas..

I got the 16" AT Italia's. The benefits of the 16" rims are less expensive tires, less expensive rims, plus another inch of rubber to provide a little more cushion when you hit potholes. Incidentally, I was unable to find any other 16" rims that would clear the brake calipers of a 330i. The entire set, including both rims and winter tires, was about $1K, which was much less than any other option I was looking at.
