The link that eddo posted is a very ugly picture of the 4-series convertible. The back very much like a Acura RSX or a Mercedes C-Class Sports Coupe.

Butt uggly. They'll never get rid of the kink for the rear side windows.

I like those masked test cars in the winter. Those side mirrors are a nice throw-off. And that antenna! So funny.

i wonder how BMW is going to keep up with demand and production of all of the new cars...BMW is already expanding to keep up with the production of hte 3-Series (new Leipzig plant opening in 2006) where will they be producing all of hte new cars of all of hte new series they are going to be introducing in the next couple of years.

No more E46 Sedan/Wagon from this summer, so they will use those lines for the new E90 3-er.

But yes, they are pushing it, 1-series, 3-series, 6-series, and the new M5, plus a face-lifted 7-series. Lots of activity at BMW, hopefully the quality will not drop....[confused]

As for the powerplant, a 3.6L V8 is rumored for the 335i some time in the future. At the beginning, I bet they will use current engines, but maybe bumped up to the ZHP output for the 3.0L.

M3/M4 will have retuned current M5's V8. It's lighter than the 3.2L six being all-aluminum. [thumb]
