87 325iS question

Hey everyone,
I'm looking at buying a 325iS for dirt cheap, the only problem i can see is its an auto with 230,000 km's on it. And im wondering how hard it is to convert it to standard?
what will it take, and what price range am i looking at?

I just bought mine in Burnaby for 4K
It is a 325IS with 235 km with a spotless body and everything seems to work fine.
It also has about $3 k in upgrades and every option available. Header/ Exhaust, Cam,Chip, Suspension, new top end and all the bills for the past 15 years. Not to mention it has the apparently ultra rare moonroof. I'm very pleased with this car in that every component works. It was cheaper than normal because it didn't pass aircare. I plan on rebuilding bottom end and I have to replace control arm bushing.
As far as swaping trannies I'm not sure I'm waiting for my Bently repair manual.

nice! hey know ne one who wants to buy a 82 320i? im selling mine so i can buy a 325iS, i dont care about air care stuff because i dont need it here so thats no big deal.
