Anyone noticed a very fine black powder coming off the inside of the convertible top? Has anyone been able to vaccumn or wipe this stuff off, or is it just the top itself degrading and falling apart? I thought maybe it was mold or something, but I wiped it with a wet rag and a lot of it came off, and kept coming off. Seems like its just the top material.

Thanks

So I came up with a fix for this. Not real satisfying but it was inexpensive. I bought a can of adhesive spray (like for carpet or tiles) at home depot. I taped and tarped everything what was not the liner in the car and sprayed a thin coat on the liner. After nearly suffocating I let it sit for about 2 weeks in the garage. Frankly I was afraid to put the top down because I thought the adhesive might stick to itself like tape and get ruined when I put it back up.

Seemed to work pretty well though.

Any of you cab owners out there notice that the rear window gets scratched when you put the top down? Seems like I might be missing some protective piece.

There is a piece of carpet in the compartment right? Owners manual recommends putting a towel over the rear side of the rear windshield before you fold it into the compartment.

Check this out for the scratches; http://www.plexusplasticcleaner.com/plexus.html
