Hi Everyone,

I just picked up my mew 2005 325ci and I love it. I just had a couple of questions..
I have the telephone prewire option however I have no idea how it will work with my cell phone (a SonyEriccson Z600) how would I be able to connect it up?

I also have the adoptive headlight option... I really dont notice anything when im turning. (I have a friend with a ML-320 and you really notice the adoptive lights in turns)

Last question... I have the premium and the sport package.. (the 17" rims with Perelli P6000s or something..) This is my 1st rear wheel car and as I understand I need to purchase a good set of winter tires and wheels for the winter..

Is there anything you can recommand?

Start by contacting The tire Rack at tirerack.com. They have lots of reviews of the different tires available and their prices are reasonable. They have several wheel & tire packages available for BMWs. There are also other retailers on line to check out but I have not used them. You would be best off purchasing a tire and wheel combination if you can afford it even if utilizes steel wheels. BMW wheels are too expensive to risk damaging them in the snow.

i just ordered new snow's today for my e36

225/50-R16 Bridgestone Blizzacks WS-50

they are GREAT tires. also the Bridgerstone LM-22's are available if you need..... well more dry/wet performance

also i looked up the Dunlop M3's, and those things look like they are really nice, and looked like they got the best ratings for snow traction on tirerack

Congrats on the your new ci. Still one of the best looking coupes on the road, if not the best!!

The Adaptive Xenon Lights only work when the Headlight knob/dial is set to the "A" setting. If you just manually turn the lights on, of course the Xenons will come on, but the Adaptive (turning) feature will not work.

Once you set the dial to A (automatic), the Adaptive feature is AMAZING. We love it going through the canyons (anyone who knows Los Angeles, knows we actually have canyons/mountians to drive thru...Laurel, Coldwater, Benedict, Nichols Canyon, Topanga, etc....) The Adaptive Xenons make all the difference.

Again, congrats, and go set the dial to A, and try it once the sun goes down!!
