Just a question about my shocks...

My rear left shock makes a squeaking sound every time I get out of the car when I guess the pressure is relieved. So I was just wondering what this could be. Also there is a lot of clattering coming from my wheels or brakes...if anyone can help...Thanks alot

That is, your emergency brake causing that squeak.


The clattering from the wheel/brakes, I dunno about, but I do know that the squeaky noise you're hearing from the left rear when you get out of the car is the emergency brake. Try leaving the car in 1st w/o the e-brake engaged and get in/out of the car - shouldn't hear it.

Absolutely nothing, it's normal. [:)]


As you step out and the suspension settles, so does the e-brake. You're good as gold. [thumb]
