About the Matronic M3.1

So i pulled my computer out of my 92 325i to check it out, and it seems like once you pull of the initial metal cover, it looks like a sandwich, (unlike the 1 layer ecu seen on DIY sites)

MY question is: is this the Matronic M3.1 that is supposed to come in my car?
The number is the same: 0 261 200 403, but it doesnt look the same as the others...

John, whats the point of posting that.....Im on a few BMW forums, and yes i post the same topics. Not every forum has answers, so why not try other places?

Having him post here gives us a chance to answer and should we need to learn it also gives us a chance to see an answer. I do not visit bimmerfourms much, and I have no idea what the answer is but I am interested in learning. I wish someone would post some photos of what we are talking about.
