I am having the most terrible time with my ABS. I first rebuilt the volatge overload relar, replaced all the brake pad sensors, and now the control unit. My ABS Is still messed up. 75% of the time when I start my car they just turn off. But they won't turn off until i tap the brakes. When they do work I can fell the abs working EVERYTIME i brake. It really really annoying to have it vibrate me pedal ever brake. Can anyone help me before I rip it all out and kick it to the side of the road? Thanks

did ya try swaping out the ABS brain for a known working one yet?

when my ABS went out, it was caused by the relay that sits on top of the ABS computer... i just opened the relay up, found the fried fuse, got a glass fuse from radio shack & sauldered that one in its place.. tah daa

Yes the "voltage overload relay" and the brain below it were both replaced, well the relay was rebuilt with a glass fuse

Have you checked the alernator

the ABS system is very voltage sensitive.

Maximum is 14.5 and minumum is 14.0.

VOM connected to the battery with the RPM at 1500 and the charging system under a load, like when the car is started.
