AC Question

Not sure if this is an electrical problem or what, but the button that turns my AC on won't depress all the way all of a sudden, so no AC. I can hold it down and the AC works, so I'm thinking it's electrical or something else. Anybody know anything about this? Thanks.

The problem is probably the AC compressor button. It is a readily available item. There are 2 different buttons used in E30s depending upon the year. BMP Design in TX lists them at $29.95 up to 1986 and $44.95 from 1987-92. They are available from several suppliers and you may be able to get a better price. Try www.eap4parts.com, they usually have good prices.

my botton is broke too i just use a tooth pick to hold it in
