I dont know if anyone else is having this problem but my ar conditining smells bad. the air coming out of the ac, or heater or even jut when i turn on the fan has a bad smell. the car is new, and I dont know what the problem could be. any ideas? Also th eheater doesnt work too well.

water condenses when A/C is on... and what you are smelling is the molted bacteria reproducing in your car. I am not sure where that tray is.. but you need to clean it out. At least thats what I heard listening to the car radio show "Car Talk" one evening.

Yeah, you need your air filter replaced. It is something you cannot do yourself. Your air filter just has mildew and dust and crap built up in it and that is the smell.
