Aftermarket exhaust

what is a good aftermarket exhaust....will just a muffler change the sound or is it better to get a cat-back system??? just looking to change sounds a boost performance on a small scale....also does it void the warrenty?

I think flowmasters are good but thats for I guess american cars. You can get a supersrpint exhaust or a Remus one, I hear those are good. Muffler will change ur sound most likely but I'm not a big cheese when it comes to exhausts. Far as I know cat is just for emmissions and not for sound that what the muffler is for (either making or silencing it).

BMW exhaust systems are very good and a replacement is not going to get you much except the sound! I would avoid Remus, mine rusted out in a year and they refused to stand behind it. Try Supersprint, Dinan, or a Bav Auto exhaust. Dinan will not void your warrenty, I am not sure about the others.

yeah well bad things happen oh well alight so now that i have ideas for exhaust what about incoming air any good kits that arnt to expensive?
