If you want true Xenon HID fog lights, then you have to buy the whole kit. This may give you an error as Xenon lights only need 35W compared to a fog light's average 55W.
You should consider investing in a CATZ ZETA system for your fog lights. They call it the "poor man's HID's". It uses your existing fog light bulbs (or aftermarket bulbs) and charges them up like Xenon headlights. The lighting is said to be "170% brighter than stock"...a lot of people recommend this setup as it really works well, and it's a really good cheap alternative to true Xenon HID kit.

If your car didn't come with Xenon headlights, you can purchase a Xenon HID kit for a couple hundred dollars off of eBay.
You can do that.. why cheap-out on something that is the first thing people see? Why put your electrical warrenty at risk? Why have a non-projector assembly that makes all the difference? Why have wires running all over your hood when using the "kit"? Remember one thing... those people are on eBay to make money and more often than not to screw you. Why not just give couple of hundred more bucks and go all the way.

I know. The car comes with Xenon headlights, so it's not an option, but they are reflector-style Xenons. I am more annoyed because the FX SUV has Bi-Xenon projector headlights. I could get custom-fabricated projector Xenons for about $1,200-$1,500 installed, but I am not sure I am willing to dish out that much $$$ just for headlights.
