Air Conditioning suddenly no cold air!

I got off the interstate this afternoon and my a/c stopped putting out cold air. I drove another 10 miles getting the RPMs up, but still it is as if the compresser isn't on. I lifted the hood and it is not turning (clutch disengaged on the compresser). Is there a fuse or switch I can check or replace? It seemed to be working fine prior which makes me think something "told" the compressor to not kick on.
Thanks.

There should be a fuse as the clutch is electrically controlled, but I can't tell you specifically which one though.

More probable is that you are low on refrigerant. There is a pressure switch in the system that will not allow the clutch to engage if the pressure is too low. This is to prevent damage to the system due to lack of lubrication.

You can charge it yourself, or take it to the shop.

Thanks Kirby! I was thinking you couldn't buy the refrigerant and charging tube without a license of some kind... Do you know where you can get this?
Thanks
