Would anyone know how to mend this problem:
Climate control recycle button does not stay in..that little square button I push it lights up..I can hear it changing vents, but it doesnt stay in.. it's like a temporary button..so I cant have recycled air.

why do you want recycled air?.... i can't even remember the last time i used mine

if you wanna fix it, just get a new switch... they're probably less than 10 bucks from the stealer... practically free if you find a junkyarded e30

Recycling the air makes the car cool down faster and lowers the temperature coming out of the vents when the A/C is on.

Yep, the switch is broken. Mine is on the way out too - you have to push mine several times in order for it to stick.

i had that with my ac button, then it wouldnt come out after i got it to stick... after that, i never had a problem with it again.

my rear screen heater button is a different story... piece of crap! i need to pick up a few extra because of the lighting and other stuff i plan to do.

if and when i get them, ill get extra (no time soon tho)

Yeah, what's the deal with that defroster switch - mine sticks all the time. I have to hit it a couple times to get it to turn off. Can it be taken apart and lubricated?
