airbag indicator lamp

Hi

I own a 320SE, year 2001 and all of a sudden the airbag indicator lamp has illuminated, and does not go off. Does anyone know why this would have happened and is there a way that I can fix it?

get it checked its on for a reason it indicates a fault in the air bag system unless you have a scanner for your car your out of luck
