Alcantara steering wheel on 330i PP

Two questions:

1) On purchasing a 330i with perfromance package from US dealer, has anyone been able to order a leather M-style steering wheel in place of the alcantara wheel?

2) Has anyone been able to get a replacement under warrantee for a worn alcantara steering wheel?

1.) I don't know of anyone that has wanted the leather in place of the Alcantara. I think the
feel of the Alcan. steering wheel is one of the 'strong' selling points in reference to that option
package. The steering wheel does have the 'M' badging on the lower portion of the center spoke.

2.) There shouldn't be any 'worn' Alcantara steering wheels on the 'ZHP's. That option
package is an '03 thing...
