another new e30 owner

Purchased an 89 325i about a month ago. Body is a little rough, but the car drives great and that was all that mattered. Fixed the exhaust leak and it passed smog fine. Car has H4/H1 upgrade, k&n dropin filter, and a JimC chip. Currently putting on new steel brake lines, Ate rotors, and new pads during the holiday. Lots more planned for the car during the winter to prepare it for track days next spring.

Don't worry, suspension will be getting completely gone over and I am looking for a lightweight set of 16's. On a budget though so it's coming along slowly.

If/when you want to replace the missing plastic air dam insert (grille) the BMW part # is 51-71-1-953-609 8-covering and lists for $18.90 before any discounts. If you decide as I did that the empty space above could also accommodate a second insert it is a relatively easy task. I can provide the instructions and what is needed if necessary. However I am leaving tonite on vacation and won't be back until the 9th. At that time I can provide anyone with the info.
