Any pictures of the upcoming 3 Series?

I've read in several threads that E46 will be discontinued THIS summer and I wonder how the new car will look like?

It's likely going to be also called the 4 series (coupes) so if you search under that, you'll see more pix that have been collected. The current 4 series thread was one of the top ones listed as I'm posting this.

Yes. Also look at the headlights. The front window is gone just like in most contemporary models (Alfa 156s, Benz SLK class, etc.)

Actually, no. The ones you posted belong to 4-Series . I am after 3-Series, the sedan.

The masked pics crack me up how they disguise stuff. Those winder pics are good. The side windows seem more upright than the current E46...no?

The repeaters on the outside rearview mirrors will never happen.

Damn, those disc breaks are massive! Get ready for really low profile, expensive tires.

What are those little creases coming down from the C pillar onto the trunk lid in both cars in the previous winter pic...those are interesting. That could be something new.

One has a shark fin...the other has some sort of tape over it. I'd bet the shark fin is in.

These winter pics are the real deal. They have the testing instrument above the passenger door. Wonder what that tracks? Wind speed? I've seen those in other real spied test cars.

Whatever they end up doing with the rear lights....i like that the back end is at a 90 degree angle from the ground. Hooeydonk might have something good cooking here. Any polished pics that are out now are definitely paintshop guesses (except I wouldn't be surprised if some of those mags get word from suppliers and put details in by description). Still…BMW, being a leader, is famous for keeping their releases under wraps.

Does anyone have some "old" spie shots of PAST BMW models? In order to see how close the spy shots were...make any sense? For example, spie shots of the new 7 before it came out...

Hehe, no. Those pictures are 'spy shots'. The cars are covered with masks to hide the details about its shape and stuff. That's why it looks so different.

I know when BMW launched the new 5 and 7 they offered new engines. Does anybody know horsepower numbers and if any new enignes will be avaliable? THanks for the Info...........
