any suggestions on my 320d

Hi, can anyone help? I have a 2000 model 320d, 3 weeks ago while I was driving down the road my motor just cut out, tried to start it again & it wont fire up, I have had it towed to 2 local garages and they are unable to find the problem!!! The fuel pumps are working and diesel is at the injectors 1 garage said it is showing a fault on the glow plug system, as far as I am aware this should not affect the car once it is driving only when starting up yet it has always started first time untill the problem. My next step is to have it taken to the local dealers unless anyone has a few ideas?????

Hi folks, well I had to get my car towed into the local dealers who have diagnosed the main injector pump is not working, wait for it the cost to repair it is £1800!!! & it can only be fixed at BMW due to the specialist tools it requires then all the system has to be reset.

Not a happy BMW fan at the moment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
