That looks like 5.52% APR, not bad for sure. I did get a little better deal (ABOUT 2.67 APR) but it was a rare deal the more I look around. Here is mine:

Car price 42,495
Residual/buyout 24,520 57%
36 months @ 485
(12,000 miles/year)
Cash down 4,000

Total Payments 17,460
w/buyout 45,980 (if paid in full by end of year 3)

Hey uber_3er:

You got a great rate no question about it. But if it is manufactures financing you may be able to push for more, say 20, 19, of even 18 rater than 23. If it is a bank there is no way but if it is BMW FS they should be able to give you a bit more. Never hurts to ask.

It IS BMW FS..Cool, Glad to know there's room. They probably want to make up for the great price I got by jacking up the rate.

A good way to tell is look at the BMW FS contract and if it is like mine it will show depreciation and “monthly rent" or something like that.

The depreciation is the amount your car is dropping in value each month-this is a sad thing to look at because it is a LOT! [bigcry]

The “rent” number is essentially your interest, what you are paying BMW for the use of the car.

My rent amount on my contract is almost 100.00 per month, $3,600 for 36 months is what BMW is charging me above depreciation.

Hey MyHarley...I would spend whatever I could and would not even worry about it. If I had say 1,000.00 per month that I was allowed and could write-off, I would spend every last penny of it. I would think M...pre-tax. [fake] [burnout]

I didnt realize how tax good it would be, that's why I'm kicking myself for not getting a M convertible.........but then again, I'd probably be in jail from tickets or in the grave from going too fast.....my lil car is a test run for the next three years to prepare me for a beast.....[rofl]
