ACME Glass and Windows does 3M. I have no idea how good they are though. A good rule of thumb: if you find a place that does Huper Optik or V-Kool, they'll most likely be very good.

You guys might wanna consider it. It's more expensive, but rejects a LOT more heat than regular tint like 3M. Since you're in Dallas, I imagine it gets hotter over there than here in SoCal. On my car, with a black interior, a few hours in temps close to 100, the air inside my car was just warm and quickly went away once the door was opened. Bare skin could touch the seats since they were just warm and never really that uncomfortable.

I think its a bit far from Dallas, but I had mine done at Sunmasters in Lewisville. Satisfied with the job. Make sure whoever does it to sand down the dot matrix on the top rear window or else the tint won't stick well. Mustangs and Camaros have this problem and it looks hideous. Or get them to put a black vinyl strip on it.

I had LLumar performance tint non-metallicized, 20%rears 35% on sides.

You don't have to sand down the dot matrix. They just have to take the extra time and effort to make sure they get out all the excess water before laying it on completely. I don't have dot matrix problems b/c the shops I got it done at knew exactly what they were doing and even took the time to show me.

Shops that say they need to sand, use black vinyl, paint, etc. are a giveaway they really have no real experience laying tint on cars. Probably only worth about $100-120 for all 5 windows.

I don't think so. I have Huper and V-Kool. While they have the same parent company, they are different tint. When they installed it, I watched them use a strip off a roll just like regular tint. I don't think the adhesive used is any different than regular tint. There's a tint shop here in SoCal that uses regular tint (3M or Luminar, can't remember) but they have no problems with dot matrix either so I'm pretty sure it's not the adhesive, but the installer's experience/knowledge.
