A 1985 325e went for $650.00 today at a police impound auction. It was a black 2 door, very nice condition. I had a guy there bidding on it but he said prior to the bidding, a guy inspected it really well and set in the car while bidding was taking place. I told my guy to back off & let it go. Obviously this guy wanted the car badly. Can't say I blame him for refusing to exit the car while bidding was going on. When bidding ended up between my buyer and him, I said let him have it. Now I wonder who this person was. Wouldn't be anyone from this forum now would it. HA, if so, could you post a picture of it? It had 117K miles, perfect body, nice paint but didn't run I think. Sometimes people would rather the cars were pushed through as the prices stay lower that way. It's possible this car ran but someone just took the key & put it under the mat. Typical....
